How is it our Love continues to grow,

I’m not certain that anyone does know;

How it changes and adjusts through the years,

Yet deeper and stronger it still appears.

 

The past it holds fast in our memory,

Wonderful times that make our history.

It blesses each present moment we share,

As it anticipates more future care.

 

Many good, vivid memories have I,

From the many great years that have gone by;

Not just the joy from each major event,

But simple pleasures, a laugh, touch or scent.

 

Sure there were bad times, sad times, hard times too;

But good times were so great, these seemed so few.

The memories our Love chooses to bless,

Leaves a past in our hearts with happiness.

 

Yet stronger today our Love has become;

It makes the house into a happy home.

It fills the moments with great warmth and care,

And it makes this life so precious to share.

 

Even still, this Love is looking ahead,

To a brighter future, we are being led;

So many more great things are left to do,

Love’s blessing is that I’ll share them with you.

 

How does it all work, I still do not know,

But I’m glad with you this Love still does grow;

For a very blessed life is this Love ‘tis true,

And it’s simply from sharing it with you.
