Daniel
Daniel Dalke - a would-be whisper of conscience
LIBRARY
Here are some works over the years that I have done,
Nothing for sale, just for browsing and just for fun.
Hopefully if you take some time you just may find
Something that clicks and makes some sense in your own mind.
Maybe your face a pleasant smile it might just tweak,
Or bring a tear trickling softly right down your cheek.
If such response these words cause, I must confess
That then for me all my effort has been success.
General
These works were written in the past,
But their story still seems to last.
The topics are somewhat varied,
Hope you'll find some merit's carried.

SPSP
Memorials
ESPN has their Espy,
I have my own SPSP;
A Simple Poem - Special Person,
Tributes to a special someone.
Over the years as some have died,
Along with sorrow and tears cried,
As memorial it was used,
And here are some to be perused.
Poeditorials
just dan
A whisper of conscience I've
wished to be;
Not to draw any attention to me,
Not to tell what opinion to prefer,
But to remind ideals to consider.
Many times in life, decisions we make,
Not all the considerations we take.
Here are some such subjects from way back when,
That may still be worth our hearing again.

Love Gallery
Dedicated
A long, long time ago, as into love I fell,
With my sweetheart I spoke, my true feelings to tell;
"I'm very fond of you," wound up the way I went,
Webster she consulted, to find out what I meant.
In the years that followed, my poetry began,
Endeavoring to write, to help her understand.
Much more clear and complete, my feelings were I guess,
Marriage and happiness, were proof of my success.
So this section has some poems I consider best,
Or not too personal, as are some of the rest.
As they were when first wrote, they're dedicated to:
"The love of my life, my wonderful wife, Thank You!"
